Mission & Discipleship - Autumn retreat

Do you want to refresh or deepen your spiritual life? Why not join a day retreat?

During the autumn a series of one-day retreats on the theme of Being Disciples offers an opportunity to refocus and deepen your devotional life. Each day will include insights from Scripture, times of guided meditation, reflection on our own experiences, prayer and worship.

Each retreat will be led by Steve Aisthorpe (Mission Development Worker) and Grace Penney (National Director, Interserve)

The Rural Working Group of the Church of Scotland has been created to resource and support the 43% of Church of Scotland parishes that are rural. We have just created a suite of resources aimed at supporting the rural church and would like to share them with those interested or involved in rural ministry; ministers and non ministers.

The National Weekend of Invitation is a call to mobilise the largest possible number of churches in Scotland and to help them to develop a culture of invitation.

Learn: Understanding Our Faith Conference

A great learning and development opportunity for everyday believers to develop a deeper and clearer understanding of Christian faith.

The Learn conference will be a day of exploration and discovery on the theme of the new publication - Learn: Understanding Our Faith - and aims to encourage believers to reflect on what they hope and believe in and to grow in confidence as they seek to share their faith in daily life.

The conference will explore six core issues of Christian life through talks and open discussions led by contributors to the publication.

Fresh Expressions vision events are dynamic ways to explore new ways of being church and how to form them.

Over 6,000 people in over 80 places in the UK and worldwide have discovered more about fresh expressions of church and have come away with a real desire to work with God and develop their dreams.

NYA 2018 Planning Weekend

Get involved with the planning for the National Youth Assembly 2018 by attending our planning weekend. Open to anyone 17 years or older with an interest in NYA, whether you've attended a previous event or not.

Community of Faith Conference for Paid Workers poster

A brilliant opportunity to connect, be resourced and inspired - designed specifically for those who are paid to work with and minister to children and young people in the church.

If you are a children's, youth or family worker, this is the conference you! Over the course of 48 hours we will consider our theme of Encounter, with time set aside to share good practice in small learning communities. In particular we will think about sharing faith; gender; GIRFEC; YoYP 2018; and mental health, exploring some of the latest research and thinking in these areas.
