Community of Faith Conference 2017

An opportunity for those who work with and minister to children and young people in the church, to connect, be resourced and inspired.  Launching our Learn: Children and Young People Publication this day conference will explore new and exciting ideas on a range of topics covered in the publication.  

Following the three chapters in the publication - being church together, working together and forming together - you will hear from 12 different speakers and have opportunities for discussion and sharing with one another.

During the autumn a series of one-day retreats on the theme of Being Disciples offers an opportunity to refocus and deepen your devotional life. Each day will include insights from Scripture, times of guided meditation, reflection on our own experiences, prayer and worship.

Lucy Moore, the founder of Messy Church, will be the main speaker at this event. A number of practical workshops will be run, exploring issues such as Maturing Messy Church; Discipling families; Borrowing from our church traditions; and Inter-generational church.

Organised by Church of Scotland in partnership with Messy Church Scotland and Stirling Presbytery.

Learn: Understanding Our Faith Conference

A great learning and development opportunity for everyday believers to develop a deeper and clearer understanding of Christian faith.

The Learn conference will be a day of exploration and discovery on the theme of the new publication - Learn: Understanding Our Faith - and aims to encourage believers to reflect on what they hope and believe in and to grow in confidence as they seek to share their faith in daily life.

The conference will explore six core issues of Christian life through talks and open discussions led by contributors to the publication.

Fresh Expressions vision events are dynamic ways to explore new ways of being church and how to form them.

Over 6,000 people in over 80 places in the UK and worldwide have discovered more about fresh expressions of church and have come away with a real desire to work with God and develop their dreams.

NYA 2018 Planning Weekend

Get involved with the planning for the National Youth Assembly 2018 by attending our planning weekend. Open to anyone 17 years or older with an interest in NYA, whether you've attended a previous event or not.
