Relational Ministry Re-imagined

Relational Ministry Re-imagined - 6 October 2018

Relational Ministry Re-imagined

Date: Saturday 6 October 2018

Venue: Live streamed to various locations across Scotland

Cost: £10

Everyone working in ministry with children and young people (Sunday School teachers, Messy Church helpers, BB / GB officers, paid workers …) is engaged in relational ministry.

At its simplest, ministry is about relationships. In recent decades our culture and approach to relationships has changed. What does this mean for us?

Andy Root will lead three sessions:

  • The importance of and cultural shifts around relationships
  • The focus and purpose of our relationships with children and young people
  • Developing relational and incarnational ministry

Following each session, participants will have the opportunity to explore and discuss these ideas with the other delegates in your local venue.

Andy Root is a sought-after speaker at conferences, colleges, and churches. He is known for an engaging style that laces together stories, theological thinking, and humour in a very accessible way

This conference is particularly relevant for people involved in ministry with children and young people (especially volunteers). It is a unique opportunity to join others in your area to explore how to develop and deepen our relationships with children and young people, within and around the church.
